Working out the bugs
Well he had our grand ribbon cutting here at Earthly Delights Day Spa. It was a big hit! I think everyone was really impressed with how beautifully everything turned out. I have some architecturaly salvaged pieces from a home in Vicksburg that was build in 1848. They really give the spa a nice flair. Its not the usual modern chrome stuff you are used to seeing in salons. They really set us apart. The spa is painted to match the logo. The lobby is golden the treatment rooms are blue and the door frames are a nice creamy coffee color. Its all so beautiful. I'll post some pictures as soon as I get them loaded on the computer but you can check out all our services at www.earthlydelightsdayspa.com.

Fluffing
I got most of my spa stuff moved into the new space this week and am now in the artistic process of fluffing. My friend Rebecca Laney came over and helped me. Turn about is fair play. I worked for Rebecca for 4 years at the center for Yoga and Health in Clinton MS. Rebecca is always the friend I turn to when I move because she has such a great sense of style and isn't afraid to tell you when things don't look good.
Starting a business is brutal work, I had the vision all in my head and now that I am laying hands on all the things it takes to make a spa run, its so exciting. One of the managers of the complex who okayed my deal came and walked through today and said, "I couldn't envision what you were talking about but now its so beautiful." That was a nice compliment. One of many more to come, I hope.

First posting for new Spa
Hello, my name is Tamara Rose and I am creating a new spa brand called Earthly Delights. We are opening our first location in Madison MS, in the colony crossing shopping center. What a wild ride it has been so far! And I haven't even gotten the doors open yet! I thought it would be fun to start this blog to share the adventure of transitioning from therapist to Spa owner. Please try not to laugh to hard. Okay, at least promise to laugh with me and not at me as the adventures continue. PS check out my spa at www.earthlydelightsdayspa.com
