High Planes Drifiting

One of the greatest things about having my own spa is being able to be creative with the menu. We have a little bit different niche. With no hair and nails we can cultivate more male clientele with our streamlined offerings. The lobby is a little fru fru but at least they are not walking into a lingerie store. So when my estethician came to me and said she had always wanted to do a facial that ended with an old fashioned shave. I was thrilled. Its something unique in the marketplace. And as Rett Evans of Bankwalker Advertising company and I were kicking it around we got a little silly with it because I really wanted to get away from the metro sexual thing and just make it a guy thing. And we were talking about manly men we love and Clint Eastwood came up, because he is the ultimate manly man. And Rett was saying that in High Planes Drifter Clint comes into town and gets cleaned up at the barber shop with the old fashioned straight blade razor and lots of hot towels. So we knew we were on to something and Rett really ran with the ball. He got a Clint Eastwood impersonator to voice our radio commercials and I think they are just awesome. Meanwhile Mary Napoli and I had great fun picking out her razor on the internet, its a beautiful german blade with a mother of pearl handle. I think we are going to do a dedication ceremony with it like a Samauri recieves his blade. Too much fun. March is already shaping up to be a great month.
